Light industry of Belarus together with 104 subject's economy employing over 120,000 people: 16 textiles, 28 Sewing, 13 jerseys, 12 and 23 leather shoe enterprises. Companies manufacture hundreds of products more than 5000 names, companies implementing the orders of foreign companies from 40 countries worldwide. Available for export about 46% of production. The exhibition "Bellegmash" - this is one of the few events held in the CIS, which shows the equipment and machinery for the garment, textile and footwear industry, demonstrates the latest scientific developments and technologies in light industry.
