A major event organized as part of the ENEX fair was a National Conference on the Renaissance of Nuclear Energy 2009 "Why Nuclear Energy?”, which was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy.
The 12th International Power Industry Fair ENEX and the 7th Fair of Renewable Sources of Energy ENEX - Nowa Energia are but a venue for annual meetings held by conventional energy producers and companies specializing in the production of energy from renewable sources. Almost 240 exhibitors from Poland, Great Britain and Italy exhibited new power equipment and technologies as well as biomass and biofuel-powered machines. The exhibition stands were full of state-of-the-art equipment used for the generation, transmission and distribution of energy from renewable sources.
