IEEE Sensors 2010

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 9th IEEE SENSORS CONFERENCE 2010, it is a great honor and pleasure to welcome you to the beautiful Kohala Coast on the Big Island of Hawaii from November 1 to 4, 2010.

IEEE SENSORS 2010 is the international conference for the presentation, discussion, and exchange of information regarding the latest research and development in sensors and its related fields. IEEE SENSORS brings together researchers, developers, and practitioners from diverse fields and thus provides a unique opportunity both to meet old and to make new friends and colleagues. The members of the Organizing Committee are working to make this a very successful conference. The plenary talk will be at poolside on Monday evening as a fitting way to kickoff the conference. We've moved the abstract submission date later to May 4 to encourage your latest contributions and we are creating additional opportunities to network through exhibitor interactions and structured extracurricular activities.

The conference is set at the amazing Hilton Waikoloa Village resort. Activities abound for the entire family, with its many restaurants, spa, two swimming pool complexes, snorkeling lagoon and beach, dolphin lagoon, and golf course. We also hope you will be able to stay an extra day (or more!) to experience more of what the Big Island has to offer, including relaxation on beautiful white sand beaches, swimming and snorkeling with sea turtles and striking colored fish, viewing the Kilauea caldera and lava flows in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, walking the black sands of Punalu'u, hiking down into the wondrous Waipio Valley and visiting the famous Mauna Kea Observatories.
