10 Years of TourNatur: Hiking Continues to be Very Popular
The next TourNatur exhibition will be held from 6 to 8 September 2013!
The 10th anniversary edition of TourNatur, which took place in Düsseldorf from 31 August to 2 September, offered impressive proof for the fact that there is still a lot of interest in hiking and trekking as well as related products and services. “With its 39,100 visitors, TourNatur 2012 has fully met our expectations”, said Helmut Winkler, Director of TourNatur. “Hiking is the Germans’ favourite leisure activity. TourNatur is so successful, because the exhibition with its unique range of hiking tourism products, equipment sales and outstanding advisory services is a perfect match for the needs of our target group. There is no comparable offer anywhere else in Germany”, continued Mr Winkler. And because of its comprehensive education programme, the fair also develops into an increasingly important platform for experts. At TourNatur 2012, 275 exhibitors showed the newest hiking and trekking equipment as well as approx. 5,000 suitable destinations for hikers.
