International Conference on VLSI Design 2015

The 28th International Conference on VLSI Design and 14th International Conference on Embedded Systems will be held during January 3-7, 2015 at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The theme for the conference this year is “IoT – Building a Smart Connected world”. This 5 day conference comprises of : Tutorials during the first two days, followed by 3 days of conference. RASDAT-2015 will be organized in concurrence with the last 2 days of the conference.

Internet of Things (IoT) is on the verge of transforming every aspect of everyday life - a paradigm shift in how we interact with the environment and amongst each other. IoT centric solutions can transform India completely, primarily in the domains that are main stay of existence - Agriculture, Security, Healthcare, Energy, Education to name a few. IoT in combination with sensors and wearables herald enormous opportunities for fundamental research in chip design, system engineering, new materials, sensors, communication, embedded software and various allied fields.
