ERTC Annual Meeting 2010

In yet another testing year for the refining industry, the stakes have never been higher. Margins are at an all-time low for European refineries. They are seeking to improve reliability plus energy and onstream efficiency as every cent gained per barrel now makes a huge difference. And exciting developments in the emerging markets of China, India, and Middle East represent both a threat and opportunity.

As refineries globally rise up to meet growing energy demand, larger investments for new technologies are allocated towards the growth businesses and region while low capital solutions are adapted to mature markets in Europe to improve performance and cost efficiency.
