The International Green Growth and Environmental Solutions Exhibition will feature an indoor exhibition area in the Palais, a green vehicles exhibition in the Parvis, and a ‘boats of the future’ and new marine technologies exhibit in the Port of Cannes.
Green Energies and Technologies International ShowThe exhibition will be divided into a number of sectors. The Ports and Cities in the Mediterranean sector will focus on sustainable cities and ports. It will look at town planning and coastal management, as well as maritime safety and security, marine energy and biological resources. The Buildings sector will look at energy efficient buildings and new energy regulations (2011-2020) and strategies for rehabilitation of existing public housing. The Environment sector will look at the production, distribution and treatment of air and water, along with marine research, underwater robotics and oceanography. The renewable energies sector will look at wind, solar and wave energy, biofuel and energy saving techniques. The Transport sector will focus on innovative public transport, environmentally friendly vehicles and tourism flow management. Finally, the Preventing Climate Change sector will focus on environmental protection, consultants, medias, finance and insurance and education and employment.
