Booth Design
The components of your trade show booth such as the lighting, graphical displays and other marketing collaterals play a very important role in drawing attendees to your booth. A poorly designed booth can pave the way to sure failure during the event as opposed to a well planned, vibrant and visually enticing booth design that can inspire attendees and set the stage for establishing new leads.
Lighting plays a key role in attracting attention and drawing visitors into your booth. Your lighting can define the mood and ambiance that you want your attendees to experience. It can be utilized to entertain them or out them in more relaxed mood. Say for example, a laser light show has the ability to attract a crowd and hold their attention for a couple of minutes in time for you to promote your business while a warm lighting that is cast over your latest product offers a more focused area of attention without appearing aggressive.
Another attention grabber is motion. This is because most exhibitors stick to static displays and fail to use motion in an effective manner. Doing this rarely sparks any interest in the visitors. You can take advantage of motion by playing a looping DVD on a wide screen TV or making use of a rotating display. Also, train your staff to maximize on their hand motions when doing their demonstrations. All these movements grab attention and give your booth an increased potential to make visitors stop at your booth.
Limit the messaging in your booth. Most of the exhibitors make the mistake of bombarding their booths with too much slogans and graphics, much to their disadvantage. What you want is to leave a lasting memory in the minds of the attendees who visit your booth.
Colors play a vital role in communicating a professional and stimulating message. So it is recommended that you use a limited palette of colors to balance professionalism and vibrancy.
And lastly, be sure that your overall booth design supports your goals because ultimately it is about leaving a lasting impression to motivate new contacts to do business with your company.
