This is fieramilano, the brand new large-scale exhibition centre that ranks at the top of the international trade fair sector in terms of size, functional features and building quality.
Fiera Milano left its historic city centre site in 2006 to move to the outskirts of Milan (Rho), to the new exhibition complex that has become known as fieramilano.
The old site, called fieramilanocity, still has a number of functioning pavilions, which offer 43,000 sqm of exhibition space, for trade shows that for reasons of organization, type of products and type of public require compact exhibition areas and prefer a downtown location.
These pavilions share the site with the MIC - Milano Convention Centre (managed by Fiera Milano Congressi), which is currently being expanded by converting some former exhibition spaces.
