Our congresses are organized in such manner that by offering special sessions of ‘introduction to the microscope’ for those considering working with a microscope, the first steps can be easily made.  
For the advanced users, we bring in the most experienced specialists worldwide to give hands-on training of special skills in all disciplines (endo, surgery, implantology, restorative and periodontology).
The masterclasses offer a platform for young and/or promising lecturers and researchers to present their work and techniques to an interested audience.
In the keynote lectures, world known lecturers bring their presentations and share their experiences in an open minded way with the participants.
Our scientific committee exists of European Academic specialists from the different disciplines who encourage the use of magnification in their dental schools.
The exhibition that goes with our congress offers the opportunity to manufacturers to bring in novelties and to experience what demands the consumers have concerning equipment and instruments for microscope dentistry.
Social activities during our meetings as well as the moderated questions-sessions after the lectures provide plenty of occasions for communication between participants.

ESMD 2010 congresses generate abstracts and articles for publication in the specialized magazines such as MICRO, the journal on micro dentistry, to spread the ideas of microscope dentistry beyond the audience of our meetings.
