More information on ISLAMIC BANKS & FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS CONFERENCE IN SYRIA
Under the Patronage of H.E Dr. Adib Mayaleh, Governor of Central Bank of Syria, the openning session of the '5th Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions Conference was opened on 15th, March 2010 at Four Seasons Hotel - Damascus.
22 Arab and foreign countries participated in the conference(Britain, Pakistan, Turkey, Switzerland, France, Cyprus, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Yemen, Sudan, Libya, Djibouti, Egypt, Kuwait, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, in addition to Syria)
More than 800 participants attended the conference, among them were chairmen, executive managers of Islamic banks and financial institutions, and people from legislative, governmental, academic, political, diplomatic bodies. As well as businessmen, investors, industrials, merchants, experts in financial and economic sector and also members from the Governing Council and Chamber of commerce & industry & tourism
