The 7th IEEE Vehicle Power and Propulsion Conference (VPPC’11) and the entire organizing committee warmly welcome you to the beautiful city of Chicago. It is our utmost pleasure to host the flagship conference of IEEE in the areas of vehicle power and propulsion for the second time in Chicago (the very first conference was held in Chicago in 2005).

The conference will be held in Downtown Chicago at the JW Marriott Hotel, located at 151 West Adams, Chicago, IL 60604, USA. The conference will bring together individuals from academia, industry and the government to discuss and exchange ideas in the fields of sustainable transportation systems, electric, hybrid electric, and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, as well as air, space, sea and undersea vehicles.
