The third edition of CSP EXPO – SOLAR TECH, the International Fair for the technologies and industry of Thermodynamic Solar Energy (CSP-Concentrating Solar Power), will be back in Rome from 8 to 10 September 2010.

CSP EXPO – SOLAR TECH 2010 will, once more, take place as part of ZEROEMISSION ROME, the important event dedicated to renewable energies in the Mediterranean area, which, in 2009 closed its doors with record figures: 25,400 visitors (there were 18,000 in 2008), 400 exhibitors (300 in 2008), an exhibition area of 30,000 square metres, (+30% compared to the previous edition), 56 conference sessions, with 377 speakers.

In 2009 CSP EXPO – SOLAR TECH saw the presence of the main operators of the sector and was the sear of the birth and launch pad of ANEST, the new Associazione Nazionale Energia Solare Termodinamica – National Association of Thermodynamic Solar Energy, which includes Almeco, Archimede Solar energy, Biosolar Flenco Group, Costruzioni Solari, FERA (Fabbriche Energie Rinnovabili Alternative, Imat (Gruppo Marcegaglia), Reflex, Sitalcea, Solar Brain, Solo Rinnovabili, Struttura Informatica, Techint, Trivelli Energia, Turboden and Xeliox. Anest aims at safeguarding the development of an Italian manufacturing chain for Thermodynamic Solar Energy and CSP EXPO – SOLAR TECH was the perfect showcase, being the first and only international fair of the sector to take place in Italy.

CSP EXPO – SOLAR TECH 2010 will also include a rich programme of conferences, workshops and round tables with the most authoritative representatives of industry, research and institutions.

From 8 to 10 September, CSP EXPO SOLAR TECH 2010 will take place alongside: PV ROME MEDITERRANEAN 2010 (photovoltaic technologies), CO2 EXPO 2010 (carbon credit market), CCS EXPO 2010 (CO2 capture and storage), GEOENERGY EXPO 2010 (geothermal energy), ECO HOUSE (energy saving).
