The 8th Annual Dartmouth Conference on Advances in Heart Failure: Special Topics 2012
This year nationally recognized visiting faculty will cover selected topics on advanced heart failure assessment and management to include self care for patients, pulmonary hypertension in heart failure, and new and upcoming therapies. Objectives

At the end of this continuing education activity, participants should be able to:

-Discuss key elements of high output heart failure and treatment options.
-Describe the pathophsiology of arrhythmias in heart failure.
-Discuss the clinical decision making in using implantable devices.
-Discuss key controversies regarding advanced treatment options such as devices, LVAD, and cardiac transplant.
-Discuss the assessment of advanced heart failure including appropriate hemodynamic monitoring.
