More information on Marketplaces
Marketplaces is the BIA/Kelsey conference that focuses on the fast growing opportunities in local verticals. Since we introduced Marketplaces in 2007, new social and mobile applications and functionality have dramatically changed the end game in the space. It isn’t (only) about classifieds and coupons anymore. Indeed, in some ways, Facebook, user reviews, video clips, blogs, dynamic offers, iPhone apps, pay-for-performance and leads management software are as important as traditional advertising.
As we develop Volume III of Marketplaces, the sea changes in the industry have made the conference more important than ever. It is, in fact, the only conference that specifically focuses on innovation and new revenues for vertical media.
Meet the Execs Who Are Driving the Vertical Opportunity
At Marketplaces 2010, attendees will hear from and have the opportunity to connect with the most innovative executives in the space — those who are successfully using vertical approaches in search and content to drive audiences and value. Top executives from more than 50 companies will be represented on the agenda, such as Adify, AOL, Clickable, eBay, Examiner.com, Groupon, NCI, Oodle, OpenTable, Redbeacon and ServiceMagic.
