As always, the convention will offer hundreds of great workshops, excellent networking opportunities, and a huge exhibit floor featuring textbook vendors, field trip destinations, fundraising opportunities, and much more.

Expanded tech showcase

Last year, the NJEA Convention debuted the Technology Integration Showcase. It proved so popular that this year it will be five times its original size. Hall B will be renamed “High Tech Hall” featuring two technology classrooms and dozens more drop-in experiences.

AHA is this year’s convention charity

Every year, NJEA selects a charity that benefits New Jersey residents. This year’s, convention attendees will be encouraged to support the American Heart Association.

The American Heart Association is a national voluntary health agency with a mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke by providing credible heart disease and stroke information for effective prevention and treatment.

A conference within a conference

If you belong to your If you’re a member of your School or Local Professional Development Committee (SPDC/LPDC) you know that there’s a lot to know. The NJEA Convention in Atlantic City is the perfect opportunity to get that “above and beyond” training you need to meet the needs of your colleagues back home.
