Those within the healthcare community, from medics and surgeons to therapists and records managers, have told us that they want and need an opportunity to share and exchange ideas. In addition to the sharing and exchanging of ideas, field professionals want to gain insight on best practices from their peers in an environment that facilitates open dialogue. IDGA’s, “Battlefield Healthcare” conferences have successfully provided these opportunities in the regional conference format; however, the scope and pace of operations has created the need for a new, large-scale, national forum aimed at bringing together a critical mass of practitioners to share and benchmark important developments.
