Workshop on Application of Communication Theory to Emerging Memory Technologies (ACTEMT) 2010

The signal-processing and information theoretic tools developed for communication channel bear huge similarities to those that have been applied successfully to data-storage devices. With the emergence of newer memory technologies such as Flash and PCM, it is imperative in the research community to seek better applications of known communication theory ideas to and invent newer ideas for data-storage.
