The 13th international conference on automated transport systems will be held in Paris, Palais des Congress, 22 to 26 May 2011.
This conference APM-ATS 2011 is the meeting place for professionals worldwide who want to share their experiences and innovations in automation of public transport. It meets every two years, hundreds of specialists: engineers, researchers, planners and business decision makers, operators, transport authorities and consultants.
Paris was chosen in 2011 for the project in progress in automation of line 1. This is to increase the line's oldest operating a network of traditional full automation with no personnel on board, the project achieved without major disruption of operations.
The conference will also be a large part in the project "Personal Rapid Transit" (PRT) as Heathrow in London and Masdar City in Abu Dhabi or more. The opportunity will be given in Paris to discuss these innovative experiments in progress and the development prospects of these new systems.
