Pain Interventions and Regional Anaesthesia 2011

1. Acute Pain:
Including, mostly but not only, regional analgesia which is the 'interventions for acute pain'. Backed by practical, hands-on workshops.
2. Chronic Pain:
All aspects but with an emphasis on interventions for chronic pain, again backed up by practical workshops. Aimed at ALL specialities who perform interventions for chronic pain
3. INS (International Neuromodulation Society):
A small highly specific programme aimed at all specialities who practice neuromodulation for all its indications including pain, deep brain stimulation, urology and gynaecology.
4. Veterinary anaesthesiology:
As at PIRA 2010 the veterinary anaesthesiologists will 'piggy back' on PIRA and they will again have their own parallel session
