May 9 - 10, 2013
The 3rd Word Smart Grid Conference China, which will be held on 9th-10th May, 2013 in Beijing, China is the largest Smart Grid event in China in 2013. In this conference, we bring together the brightest and most influential industry leaders all over the world under one roof. It is endorsed by the CIGRE and KSGA, and it attracts local and international utilities. In short, we bring together people who make and will make a difference in this industry.

“Making a Green Grid” has become a vision for many countries all over the world. Worldwide utilities will cooperatively invest more than US$378 billion in smart grids construction by 2030. Compared to legacy grid networks, building an intelligent grid involves more stakeholders, such as environmental groups, electricity end-users, power marketers and venture capitalists, which presents major opportunities regarding the development of smart grid. Meanwhile, more than 90 pilot projects have been putting into practice; another 90 are in the planning process. Last year, the investment of Smart Grid reached US$ 7.1 billion in the US. Cumulative European countries’ investment in the smart grid technologies will reach US$80.3 billion during the period from 2010 to 2020.
