Government Communication Conference 2014

Strategising and amplifying the role of Government through marketing and communication.

Intelligence Transfer Centre is hosting the 1st Annual Government Communication Conference on 2 and 3 October 2014 at Indaba Hotel, Johannesburg.

The scale of marketing and communications in Government is evolving. Government is continuously experiencing challenges ranging from budget constraints, limited resources, and sometimes service delivery bottlenecks. The new age of communications has seen the introduction of new and fast communication which can also be detrimental if the message is not clear or there is no communication at all.

The conference aims to bring communications stakeholders in Government together to drive social and behavioural change to deliver policy outcomes and engage positively with the South African public. The latest communication technologies, methods and knowledge are at the disposal of Government to ensure that objectives are met, efficiently and cost-effectively by building strong communication channels.
