Yapex Renovation 2014

Yapex Restoration Fair organized as a part of International YAPEX Fairs will be organized between 13-16 November 2014 with the theme of RESTORATION, RENOVATION AND CULTURAL HERITAGE PROTECTION. Fair to be organized in collaboration with ÇEKÜL - The Foundation for the Protection and Promotion of the Environment and Cultural Heritage and support from the Union of Historical Towns of Turkey and HERITAGE EUROPE aims to bring together all investors, designers and manufacturers working for the purpose of restoration, protection, refunctioning architectural and archeological buildings belonging to the old and recent era and for the purpose of carrying them to the future in Antalya.


On one hand… Historic settlements, monumental structures, archeological sites, all shaped by successive civilizations throughout history... A rich cultural heritage waiting to be repaired, renovated, equipped with modern functions and reconciled with contemporary developments…
On the other hand… Traditional crafts, skills, materials, practices that enrich preservation projects... And modern restoration and renovation methodology, diversified by new technologies and products, respectful to the originality of cultural heritage...

Yapex Restoration 2014 aims to assemble know-how, experience, project expertise as well as material and production technologies related to restoration activities. It aims to contribute to the restoration, renovation and adaptive re-utilization of historical structures on a local to national and universal scales, in the light of contemporary principles, in order to transmit their inherent value to the future.
