Course Learning Objectives Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to: 1. Recognize the difference between sinus headaches and other types of headaches 2. Differentiate between various types of vertigo and discuss their management 3. Identify patients with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo and apply canalith repositioning maneuvers 4. Identify and treat several common ear conditions 5. Evaluate the lump in the neck 6. Identify,evaluate and treat the patient with nasal airway obstruction 7. Identify,evaluate and treat the patient with sinusitis or rhinitis 8. Demonstrate the various physical exam techniques used in the ENT exam. 9. Identify the patient who may benefit from hearing amplification and discuss current hearing aid technology 10. Give examples of Pediatric ENT emergencies and discuss which ones need action now or later. Intended Audience This course is designed for Family Medicine physicians, Internal Medicine physicians, Pediatricians, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners.
