Congress of European Microbiologists - FEMS 2017

Welcome to the 7th Congress of European Microbiologists (FEMS 2017)! It's an exciting time to be working in the field of microbiology as we see some very relevant scientific and societal issues that ask for an answer from the microbiological community. The Spanish Society for Microbiology (SEM) will host the meeting and will also accommodate the 26th SEM congress. We are happy to join forces and build on the basis of cooperation that we laid at the 2nd FEMS congress in Madrid in 2006. Together, we are preparing an excellent joint scientific programme covering many disciplines and relevant hot topics. As a bonus, the modern and friendly Mediterranean city of Valencia will set the scene for FEMS 2017.
