Rendezvous Crafts for 17 years, Artisan Chartres offer the opportunity to discover the First Company of France for four days.
It is on the site Chartrexpo, decorated capitals impressive that this meeting takes place each year on the second weekend of October.
Crafts in Action
The craft is a richness and diversity still too little known today. Therefore Handicraft Chartres exist and offer discovery, education and fun through demonstrations , events and tastings to 70,000 visitors who come each year.
Nearly 500 exhibitors and 150 open trades to the curiosity of visitors every year. Hence its name of "greatest living workshops.
Between tradition and modernity
The diversity of trades and crafts in fact a panel rich traditional crafts as modern. We find examples for Handicraft Chartres, including eco-construction with a center that has all the latest technologies of sustainable development .
Training: crafts a job with prospects
Through its " Neighborhoods Crafts , spaces dedicated to training institutions in the Region Centre (Apprentice Training, Vocational High Schools), the Artisan of Chartres is also an opportunity to establish or confirm his future professional vocation.
