ENGINEERING EXPO AHMEDABAD 2012

With Rs.3,741 crore FDI in April- December 2011, Gujarat stands at the No. 4 position in attracting FDI. Ahmedabad accounts for 21.5% of factories and employs 18% of workers in the state. Over 14% of the total investments in all stock exchanges in India and 60% of the total industrial productivity has been contributed by the district.

The 3 new GIDC estates in Ahmedabad will be at Bor and Hirapur villages in Sanand taluka, Hansalpur village in Mandal taluka and near Vasna Chacharvadi village on the border of Daskroi, Dholka and Bavala talukas. In Gandhinagar, estates have been planned at Titoda village and Moti Siholi-Dhanap at Mahudhara village of Gandhinagar taluka and at Santej village of Kalol taluka.
