The Proform opened its doors for the first time from the 10th to 13th of June in Dortmund. Altogether 127 exhibitors from ine countrys participated in the first trade fair covering the compiling of processes in the field of cutting & stamping and injection moulding technology. The subject of the technology involved in combining individual production techniques was dealt with comprehensively. Besides the fair itself, a full programme of high-level congresses was held – all dealing with the processing of metals and plastics.

Nowadays, more than 60% of stamped metals mechanically and turned parts are either directly or indirectly combined with plastic elements.
