STOMATOLOGY AZERBAIJAN 2012

The annual Stomatology Azerbaijan exhibition is the only specialized event of the kind in the region. Stomatology Azerbaijan is a meeting point for specialists from the dental industry and manufacturers and distributors of dental equipment, materials and products; a place where demonstrations of the full range of products and services can take place; and a discussion platform for the latest achievements in the industry.

The economy of Azerbaijan and healthcare sector

Over 400 health care facilities have been constructed or refurbished in Azerbaijan during the past five years. Work on equipping them to international standards continues to takes place regularly.
About AZN 200 million (US $255 million) was spent on the implementation of nine state health programmes during the same period.
Budgetary expenditure in the healthcare sector amounted to AZN 483,425,000 (US $612 million) in 2010.
This budget will be increased to AZN 600 million (US$760 million) by 2013
