The excellent seismic behaviour of wooden house has been proved in the two earthquakes, which happened in Wenchuan Sichuan Province and Yushu Qinghai Province. Many buidings were collapsed in the earthquakes only a few wooden houses survived. Therefore, it is popular among people for its advantages of health, environmental protection, energy-saving.
