INALCO 2013

The 12th INALCO conference will be held at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, in Montréal, Québec, Canada, during the Canadian International Aluminium Conference (CIAC), the flagship of a week-long series of international conferences and major events, all related to Aluminium.

INALCO will feature keynote lectures by invited speakers, as well as oral and poster presentations of papers submitted by thought leaders within industry and academia.

Architecture, Construction, Design, Transport, and New Applications are among the topics to be considered.

Aluminium alloys and light metals are widely utilized for building and civil engineering structures, aircraft, storage tanks, rolling stock, automotive and marine applications because of their light weight, relatively high strength-to-weight ratio, ease of forming (through such technologies as extrusion), and good corrosion resistance. Bolting, welding and bonding are the most important, versatile and practical joining processes for these constructions.
