The European Economic Congress, organized by PTWP SA Group, has become the most important economic event in Central Europe in a relatively short period of time. Six thousand guests, 900 speakers and 500 media representatives took part in the third edition.
The Congress has been considered as a forum of one of the most representative discussions about Europe’s future and arguments advanced in speeches of our most important participants were widely commented and quoted.
Participation of four Prime Ministers from Central Europe as well as two current and three former EU commissioners is evidence of the event’s significance. Polish government was represented by over 20 members of minister’s rank and the business world was also present – many representatives of the largest European enterprises attended the event.
The Congress is a three-day cycle of debates, meetings and accompanying events with participation of foreign and Polish guests. The scope of topics of over one hundred sessions and discussions referred to the most crucial questions for economic and social development of Europe. The Congress events were covered by around hundred newspapers and TV stations from Europe and Poland.
The head of the Congress Programme Council is the President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek whose authority guarantees a high level of the event.
