HPA Tech Retreat UK Presented By SMPTE 2016

The Hollywood Professional Association (HPA) has unveiled plans for a regional version of its preeminent event, the HPA Tech Retreat, to be held in the UK this July. The HPA Tech Retreat UK is the first example of an HPA global focus enabled by its affiliation with the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE). SMPTE and the HPA are partnering to present the event. The 2016 HPA Tech Retreat UK will take place at Heythrop Park Resort in Oxfordshire, Wednesday and Thursday, July 13-14, 2016. Sessions include a rare opportunity to look behind the scenes on tentpole productions that have a firm foothold in both the UK and Hollywood, both major motion pictures and television productions, and more. Other panels will include broadcasters, technology thought-leaders and those at work on a variety of informative projects and processes. As at the HPA Tech Retreat in Indian Wells, California, companies driving change and innovation gather to explore, understand and debate the trends and technologies of the future, while tackling head-on the issues of the present.
