InnoTrans 2010

06/07/2010 It is all happening again on InnoTrans 2010 in September: the leading international trade fair for railway technology reveals the future of mobility. The unique concept of this event is being retained in 2010, with trade fair, convention and outdoor rail displays. Satisfied exhibitors and growing attendance figures offer convincing proof: 85,592 trade visitors at InnoTrans, 33 % more than at the previous event. A record number of exhibitors were represented, too, 1,914 companies from 41 countries. As a multidisciplinary trade fair focusing on rail transport InnoTrans 2010 shows the way for the mobility of the future.

The largest section at InnoTrans, turns the spotlight on the advances being made on Railway Technology. Components and systems, from drives to vehicle maintenance: a comprehensive and representative picture of all aspects of rail transport will be provided. The outdoor display area is a feature unique to InnoTrans. 3,500 metres of track provide a direct link with the exhibition halls and the public rail network. All the industry’s innovations will be on display, from construction and dual mode vehicles to freight rolling stock and locomotives, as well as entire local, regional and long-distance transport systems.

23/06/2010 InnoTrans 2010 increases the focus on public transport especially rail transport technology. At InnoTrans 2010 trade fair around 300 exhibitors will occupy approximately 17,500 sqm of the show floor. Among the US exhibitors you can find names like : Cisco Systems, Innovative Scheduling and Visual Marketing Systems.
