Description
Beijing Exhibition Center is opened in 1954 as the city's first large-scale, comprehensive exhibition venue, with the late Premier Zhou En-Lai cutting the red ribbon and Chairman Mao Tse-Tung contributing poetic thoughts.
Beijing Exhibition Center's three East Wing exhibition halls and single large hall, entertainment theater and restaurant in the West Wing offer a cohesive yet flexible and easily accessed venue. It makes each and every exhibition, conference and trade show successful, memorable and profitable. The notable events including the annul International Military Logistics Equipment Exhibition, the 1996 to 1999 China International Financial Technical Exhibitions, and the 1997 Italy Marco Polo Fashion Expo. In 1997, it was also chosen to showcase the achievements of China's Fourteenth Party Congress.
