strong>1-2-3 Magic™ & Emotion Coaching is a one-day practitioner training course for professionals to learn to help parents manage difficult behaviour in children aged 2-12.
It is based on two underlying perspectives on parenting. First, children can be taught to respond more flexibly when they are frustrated or upset. Second, parents and carers can be taught easy-to-use skills they can use at particular parenting moments. As a practitioner, this course will provide you with the knowledge to conduct the 1-2-3 Magic™ & Emotion Coaching program - either as a three (two-hour) session parent education course or to teach the program one-on-one within a few clinical treatment sessions. You will receive a comprehensive training manual, a CD slideshow parent presentation, and session-by-session guidelines for parent meetings.
123 Magic™ & Emotion Coaching has been endorsed by the APS for 7 generalist PD points.
