IEEE International Vacuum Electronics Conference (IVEC) 2013

The Fourteenth International Vacuum Electronics Conference, IVEC 2013, organized and sponsored by the European Space Agency (ESA) with the technical co‐sponsorship of IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS), will be held 21-23 May 2013 in Paris, France.
IVEC was originally created in 2000 by merging the US Power Tubes Conferences and the European Space Agency TWTA Workshops, and has now expanded to a fully international conference, being held every other year in the US, and in Europe and Asia alternately every fourth year. After Bangalore, India in 2011 and Monterey, USA in 2010 and 2012, IVEC 2013 returns to Europe to the wonderful city of Paris.

The John R. Pierce Award for Excellence in Vacuum Electronics, and a Student Paper Award will be presented at the conference.
The Conference venue is right in the city centre, within walking distance from the most beautiful monuments and attractions. The Conference will be complemented by a varied and interesting social program, details of which will be posted on the IVEC 2013 website in the months to come. As in past conferences, the technical meeting and social events will provide a unique opportunity to renew friendships with colleagues and friends, interact with customers, and meet students.
