The PV Asia Pacific Conference is an international scientific conference that is held annually in Singapore, in conjunction with the PV Asia Pacific Expo. The Conference and Expo are integral parts of the annual Singapore International Energy Week.
Photovoltaics (PV), the direct conversion of solar energy into electricity, has the potential of covering a significant fraction of humanity’s energy demand in a clean and sustainable way. To accelerate the proliferation of PV in Asia Pacific and other regions, further reductions of the cost of PV electricity are required, necessitating ongoing innovations and advances in the field of PV materials, cells, and systems.
