Annual Psychotic Disorders Conference 2011

This year’s conference on psychotic disorders has been designed to respond to areas of need as identified through past conference evaluations and annual needs assessment surveys of participants. The program is knowledge and experience-based and designed to update participants on important new approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of psychotic disorders. Program content will address educational or practice gaps in the areas of pharmacologic treatments and how they work in the brain, causes of common psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder; negative symptoms and social deficits in schizophrenia; problems in memory that affect patients day to day functioning, and underlying causes and novel treatments for psychosis.
