Telecom Fraud & Revenue Risk Assurance 2011

Best Practices in Combating Fraud & Maintaining an Effective Revenue Assurance Strategy
The Technology, Media and Telecoms sector is facing a growing fraud threat, but has been slow to realise the danger. In the Economist Intelligence Unit Report Card, 2010/2011 Edition, the incidence of all but one type of fraud covered in the survey rose in the last year. Some of the growth is alarming. The proportion hit by information theft more than doubled from 15% to 37%, the third highest figure for the sectors surveyed. It also saw the highest levels of IP theft (27%), market collusion (22%), and even money laundering (15%).
To meet the demand for greater awareness of how to combat fraud, IQPC will bring together 16 expert speakers at the 5th Annual Telecoms Fraud and Revenue Risk Assurance conference. They will share best practices on planning and implementing strategies to combat fraud and maintain an effective revenue assurance strategy.
Key issues in our agenda this year:
• Understand fraud trends and learn best practice fraud detection methodologies to combat fraud effectively
• Learn what are the challenges IP networks pose to your revenue integrity
• Effectively manage dealer fraud through improved processes
• Apply forensics, corrections and compliance strategies to prevent revenue leakages
• Automate fraud detection during new product launches
