September 7 - 11, 2015    Durban , Südafrika
The XIV World Forestry Congress, hosted by the Republic of South Africa, will bring together the global forestry community to review and analyse key issues and to share ways of addressing them.

The Congress – being held for the first time in Africa – is open to people from all countries, regions and sectors, whether they belong to a government organisation, an NGO, a private company, a scientific or professional body, a forestry society, or simply have a personal interest in attending. Broad participation and inclusive discussion will facilitate the elevation of forestry issues to global agendas on sustainable development.

The Congress programme will be professionally and culturally rewarding, with a variety of sessions, events and dialogue, to ensure that all participants are engaged in defining a vision and strategies for the sustainable future of forests and forestry.

We look forward to welcoming you to Durban!
