Mine Rehabilitation and Closure QLD 2011
June 28 - 30, 2011
Brisbane NSW , Australia
Mine rehabilitation and closure is a developing and complicated process often involving many stakeholders, from in-house planning and environmental specialists, to regulators, consultants and community bodies. As governments demand greater detail in planning at the preliminary stages of mine operations, the need for progressive and practical styled closure plans is critical. The success of these plans and the alignment of goals between all stakeholders will determine the time taken to reclaim and decommission the site, and relinquish tenements and bonds.
