Once again, the event is proudly endorsed by the Royal College of Nursing, the Emergency Care Institute and the Discharge Planning Association and I thank them for their contribution. Also, I am delighted that the event is now an Australasian College For Emergency Medicine accredited meeting and thank the College for their involvement.

Updates and approaches to meeting the National Emergency Access Targets will be addressed both through the opening keynote address and the interactive panel discussion which will focus on the next steps to continuing improvement and embedding processes.
