Effective Police Complaints Handling 2015
7 October, 2015
london , Reino Unido
This course will enable delegates to improve their current practices and confidently engage with the future challenges of complaints handling. One of the key determinants of public trust in the police is the degree to which complaints are effectively managed. This is a major challenge in policing, particularly as the period between 2014 and 2015 saw a record number of complaints against the police. Following the recent Home Office consultation it is vital for Police Forces and Offices of Police and Crime Commissioners (OPCCs) to plan for the changing landscape and develop strategies to deliver effective complaints procedures. This Effective Police Complaints Handling course, led by former senior police officer Simon Corkill, will enable delegates to improve their current practices and confidently engage with the future challenges of complaints handling. In interactive sessions and extended workshops those in attendance will examine the issues through presentations, case examples and group discussion. Event Time: 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Event Category: Classes / Courses | Professional Training | Classes, Courses & Workshops. Artists / Speakers: Simon Corkill, Lindsay Whitehouse, Rebecca Reed.
