More information on HOME DECOR - Interior Design and Home Furnishing Fair
Between 26 and 28 May in Poznan, another HOME DECOR Interior Design Fair was held. It was organised for the first time in a revised formula. In 2010, HOME DECOR was transformed into a strictly business event. The invitation to participate in the fair was targeted to professional clients (including retailers, wholesalers, representatives of retail chains), as well as designers, architects and developers. They were be able to see a wide range of producers and service providers operating both in the interior furnishing and finishing industry. Traditionally, the exhibition featured textiles, decoration, interior design services and room furnishings, whereas novelties included themes related to bathrooms, home spa or wall and floor finishing.
This year's HOME DECOR fair lasted from Wednesday to Friday. To allow exhibitors to fully focus on business contracting Saturday, which was traditionally a day open to the public, was abandoned. In addition, exhibitors and their key customers had an opportunity to make use of a range of programmes and packages created for entrepreneurs operating in the interior design industry.
Lectures and workshops
Both the Hosted Buyers programme and the possibility for exhibitors to present multimedia presentations of their companies in the Speaker's Corner area, which was arranged as part of the Etno TRENDY exhibition, were very popular. On the first day of the fair, a special guest of this space was a successful designer at home and abroad Eva Minge, and her lecture on "Fashion, art and business in relation to the interior," enjoyed great popularity among visitors to the fair and attracted a wide audience of listeners interested in new solutions on the home furnishings market.
