The 11th international exhibition on air conditioning, heating, ventilation and refrigeration will host industry leaders showcasing the latest technologies and products.
Saudi Arabia is the world’s biggest air conditioning market, estimated to be worth some $1 billion a year. Demand for indoor cooling is growing across the board due to high population growth, rising affluence and the mega projects under construction, like the kingdom’s six economic cities, universities and real estate projects. While sales of conventional air conditioning units remains strong, new technologies are being adopted, particularly at large, purpose-built projects, such as variable refrigerant flow (vrf) air conditioning systems, centrifugal chillers and district cooling.
