More information on CONCOURS GENERAL AGRICOLE
Founded in 1870, the General Agricultural Competition aims to select and reward the best traditional French products and the best breeding stock.
It has three major competitions:
Animal Contest
Competition Products and Wine
Contest Judgement
that occur each year in the International Exhibition of Agriculture .
Because it is organized under the control of the state and follows a rigorous screening and selection, the General Agricultural Competition is renowned for its impartiality and the value of the results.
Indeed, each year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food defines the rules of the contest, the rules available on this site, and Field Services Department's (DDT) control the collection of product samples.
