The only trade fair for bridals, wedding suits and evening gowns, IF Wedding Fashion İzmir – 3rd Wedding Dresses, Suits and Evening Gowns Fair, which was organized between the dates of 22-25 February 2009 in International İzmir Fair Centre ended successfully. Turkey has gained a new famous world-wide sector and an export fair.

Turkish ready-wear sector aims to be the leader of wedding industry in the worldwide, which increases significant range of 3rd IF WEDDING FASHION İZMİR. Participants had opportunities to make business contacts with 42 countries in trading sectoral exports during the four days of IF WEDDING FASHION 2009.

Compared to the previous year’s event the number of visitors was rising considerably with 16.904 visitors came from 42 countries plus the 140 exhibitors, once again the trade fair is on the way to become the prestigious fair in its field.

The proportion of foreign visitors which was very high, mostly came from outside of Turkey, with Germany, Azerbaijan, Italy and Greece as the leading foreign countries. Also, USA, Mozambique, South Africa and countries like Tajikistan and India displayed their interest in the fair was remarkable.
