One of the leading Russian events devoted to the matters of environmental protection and rational nature management the International Ecological Forum «Ecology of Big City» is annually organized in March by JSC «Lenexpo», acting under the auspice of the Plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the North-Western federal region, the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation, the St. Petersburg Government and the Government of the Leningrad region, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, branch associations, specialized and business mass-media.
