FM EXPO 2010

2010 is the 5th edition of FM Expo. Over the years, we have seen the FM industry rapidly evolve in the Gulf region. As Property Developers have become more and more aware of the importance of FM, Property Management and Facilities Management have started to merge. The introduction of FM from property conception is seen as increasingly necessary in order to keep maintenance costs to a minimum further down the line. Green Buildings, Strata Law and Energy Management have all become everyday vocabulary for Property & FM professionals.

The driving force behind the growing Facilities Management market in the Gulf has always been the massive construction boom taking place in the region. Despite the current economic slow down which has resulted in many construction projects being put on hold; Facilities Management continues to be paramount as more and more buildings now near completion. Experts predict that eventually the FM industry will surpass construction, as the number of completed buildings increases and need to be professionally managed and sustainably maintained.

FM Expo is the leading event in the region dedicated to Facilities Management and 2010 will see the show continue to grow with the market.
